In the long history of several thousand years of Iran, advice and counsel have always been an inseparable and continuous part of Iranian culture and the most important part of Pahlavi literature And since one of the main ways to know the people of a land is to refer to the literature and written works and oral tradition of the people of that land, Studying and examining the advices from different aspects can lead the researcher to new horizons around issues and related subjects. In this regard, the current research intends to study and research the quality and manner of Pahlavi - and to some extent Manichaean- advices in terms of including literary arts and rhetorical techniques; This means, whether literary techniques were used in the expression of Pahlavi's advices, or in their reporting, simplicity is preferred over figures of words and thoughts. At first glance, it seems that the use of rhetorical methods in the expression of advices is very few. But after examining and pondering Pahlavi and Manichaean maxim, it is clear that the use of literary arrays is very impressive and visible And among these, using the method of question and answer, clarification after ambiguity is preferable over other literary figures.
